A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager for a 6-month contract in Winnipeg. The ideal candidate will lead tech projects while managing change within a Higher Education environment.   • PMI PMP or Prince2 certification.
  • Experience working in a Higher Education environment.
  • Experience implementing enterprise projects in a large environment.
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure and Integration projects.
  • A solid foundation of Information Technology skills and experience.
  • Experience with facilitating planning sessions / workshops with large diverse groups.
  • Experience with complex projects with multiple concurrent streams of work.
  • Experience with Organizational Change Management.
  • Experience performing the role of Business Analyst on a project, as needed.

Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage an Org Change

  • Support higher education

  • Business and organizational requirements reviewed and documented.

  • Current state of processes and service delivery across all service units mapped.

  • Formal recommendations and solutions for optimizing and innovating current processes delivered.

  • Recommendations to support the provision of new, integrated, and automated online systems to meet researcher and funder demand delivered.


Qualifications
