This position is based in Brossard and requires a hybrid presence of 3 days per week in the office.

Position Overview

As part of the creation of a new Project Management team within Operations, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager who will lead projects of varying scope. These include technical product‑related projects such as new product introduction and industrialization or product maintenance, as well as projects focused on quality, continuous improvement, and process optimization. The role may also involve leading corporate initiatives that support the company’s growth.

Reporting to the Operations Project Portfolio Manager, you will play a key role in delivering complex, high‑impact projects while working closely with R&D, Quality, Production, Strategic Purchasing, and Continuous Improvement teams.

You are a dynamic, persuasive, and results‑oriented professional with solid experience managing projects in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the electronics industry.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

The Project Manager will be responsible for the end‑to‑end management of projects within the Operations department, with the exception of new equipment introduction (NPI) projects, for which they will specifically oversee the industrialization phase.

  • Define project structure and objectives in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans and manage timelines, milestones, and costs.
  • Track task execution with operational teams (R&D, Quality, Production, etc.).
  • Organise and lead governance forums: project reviews, progress meetings, coordination meetings.
  • Foster strong cross‑functional collaboration and a positive, results‑driven working dynamic.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for each project.
  • Manage scope changes, prioritise initiatives, and resolve project roadblocks.
  • Provide regular reporting to the Portfolio Manager (progress, deviations, risks, action plans).
  • Document lessons learned at project closure for knowledge sharing.
Specific NPI Projects Responsibilities
  • Ensure cross‑functional coordination between R&D, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain.
  • Participate in design reviews and lead the transition to production (NPI).
  • Ensure validation of industrial tools, methods, and processes.
  • Lead failure mode and effects analyses (FMEA) related to manufacturing tools and processes.
  • Ensure process stabilisation in production and supply chain, and compliance with quality requirements until handover to mass production.
Skills and Minimum Experience Required
  • University degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of project management experience, including significant experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects with cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong skills in planning, coordination, deliverable tracking, and project team leadership.
  • Ability to influence and align stakeholders toward shared objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
  • Strong results‑ and quality‑driven mindset with the ability to deliver efficiently.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Azure DevOps, or equivalent).
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification.
  • Knowledge of electronic product industrialization phases.
  • Experience in a high‑growth or transformation manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with new product development processes.
  • Experience in certified environments (ISO, LEAN, Six Sigma, etc.).
