General Summary:

The AI/ML Software Program Manager is a key member of the Markham PMO within the Technology Planning group at Qualcomm. This role focuses on AI/ML technologies for software products across various business units. The Program Manager will lead efforts in scoping, planning and managing the execution of AI/ML Software deliverables across SoC platforms, programs and initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution: Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans and ensure adherence to milestones. Understand requirements priority and drive scoping and planning, including interdependencies, staffing constraints, and schedule optimization across multiple tech teams.

Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for project updates, risks, and dependencies. Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal stakeholders. Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information to multiple audiences.

Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues promptly to keep projects on track.

Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, and product managers, to establish clear Plan of Records.

Process Adherence and Improvement: Implement best practices in project management, agile methodologies, and continually look for improvements for efficient delivery.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of project plans, progress reports, and post-delivery evaluations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Software development experience in the AI Software/SoC/embedded industry
  • Strong technical understanding of AI/ML technology and deliverables.
  • Strong working knowledge of SDLC/ Agile practices in the AI Software/SoC/embedded industry.
  • Scrum Master/ Product Owner Experience
  • Experience with multiple technology development and end-to-end product integration.
  • Experience managing products through the entire development life cycle, including risk management.
Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$105,600.00 - $155,600.00 The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales‑incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
