In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Organize and coordinate all production activities in accordance with priorities to ensure that objectives are met
  • Maintain a safe, respectful work environment and climate based on the organization's values
  • Plan and allocate resources (human and material) to ensure the smooth operation of equipment
  • Monitor and analyze performance indicators and production results
  • Identify production-related problems, participate in identifying areas for improvement and propose solutions to optimize productivity in collaboration with experts
  • Ensure that products comply with quality standards and technical specifications, and manage failures with workers
  • Guide and supervise employees, train them in work procedures and safety rules, and evaluate their performance
  • Enforce the company's rules of conduct, manage cases of non-compliance, take appropriate disciplinary action, and document incidents
  • Manage employee relations and resolve conflicts
  • Lead the various daily production monitoring meetings
  • Promote and apply occupational health and safety practices

  • Work schedule: 3 X 12h night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00 + 1 Saturday per month
  • 3 to 5 years' experience supervising staff, in a unionized and manufacturing environment

  • Sense of autonomy, resourcefulness and teamwork
  • Ability to express suggestions for process improvement
  • Knowledge of production management computer system and Office365 suite.
