Why This Role Will Matter

The Production Manager – Milling & Shaping will be a driving force behind operational excellence in these critical processes. This role demands a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency while leading a high‑performing team of operators and process engineers. Beyond managing daily operations, you will play a strategic role in commissioning and ramp‑up activities, fine‑tuning particle size distribution, and implementing continuous improvements that enhance productivity and sustainability—directly contributing to Vianode’s mission of advancing innovative, eco‑friendly battery materials.

What You’ll Be Driving
  • Process Management: Oversee milling and shaping equipment operations and maintenance to ensure consistent performance.
  • Safety Leadership: Enforce strict safety protocols for high‑energy milling operations, fostering a strong safety culture.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality standards and PPAP documentation for shaped materials.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop operators and process engineers, providing guidance and support for milling and shaping activities.
  • Process Optimization: Troubleshoot process issues and optimize throughput to achieve production targets.
  • Commissioning Support: Actively participate in commissioning and ramp‑up of milling and shaping lines.
What You’ll Need to Stand‑out
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in production management within industrial or chemical processing environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of synthetic graphite manufacturing processes and thermal treatment technologies.
  • Proven track record in plant commissioning and ramp‑up activities.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
