A manufacturing company in Alberta seeks General Laborers for various duties including operating tools and assisting machine operators. Candidates must be able to lift up to 45 lbs and should have a Grade 12 education or GED. Experience with forklifts and overhead cranes is preferred. General Laborers perform a variety of duties depending on the specific department they are working in. Duties include operating basic hand tools, assisting machine operators and welders. Housekeeping and material handling are also components of this position. This role requires lifting to 45 lbs without assistance. Active participation in the company HSE program and adherence to all company policies and procedures is required. Other duties and special projects may be assigned. The position schedule will be primarily nightshift, however, it may involve various shifts and overtime hours depending on the scope of work.
