Job: Electronics Assembler

Job Type: Temporary Ongoing

Location: Dartmouth, NS

Shift: Monday-Thursday, require availability from 7am-6pm.

Pay: $16.25/hr

Advantage Personnel is currently recruiting for the role of Electronics Assembler on behalf of our client in Dartmouth, NS.

Our client is looking for a skilled assembler to connect parts into more complex components. You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. You will use your hands or machines to do the job with greater precision.

Responsibilities
  • Read and decipher blueprints for assembly.
  • Collect materials and equipment.
  • Take precision measurements.
  • Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications.
  • Align material and put together parts to build more complex units.
  • Maintain equipment in good condition.
  • Keep records of production quantities and time.
  • Report on issues, malfunctions, or defective parts.
Qualifications
  • Soldering experience.
  • Experience as an electronics assembler.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings, etc.
  • Completion of a post-secondary education.
  • Great manual dexterity.
  • CSA Approved safety shoes required.
  • Must be comfortable with repetitive tasks (standing, sitting, etc).
