Job summary

Farm Boy is seeking a motivated supervisor to join our team in Burlington. You will work with the Department Manager to deliver exceptional customer service and drive store-wide operational excellence, including coaching staff and leading daily huddles for performance and engagement.

The role requires a post-secondary business background and at least 1 year of supervisory experience, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for delivering engaging and exceptional customer service.
• Completion of a post-secondary program with an emphasis in business and at least 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills with clear communication.
• Comfort using manual and automated systems and various computer software programs.
• Ability to work standing for extended periods and in cooler/freezer/outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and engaging customer service reflecting Farm Boy's standards.
• Collaborate with the Department Manager to execute departmental strategies and goals.
• Lead team huddles, coach, train, and recognize staff to enhance engagement.
• Support daily operations: inventory management, ordering, scheduling, payroll, and merchandising.
• Maintain department cleanliness and ensure safety policies are followed.
