POSITION SUMMARY:
The Lee’s Summit Printing Department is responsible for the printing and decoration of plastic manufactured food containers. The Printing Departments runs a Monday through Friday schedule on 1 st , 2 nd , and 3 rd Shifts.
Reporting to the Printing Shift Supervisor, the Machine Operator is responsible for operating a dry offset printing press and packing/unpacking rigid plastic containers and lids. A fully qualified Machine Operator will be skilled in the following key responsibilities, however may only be required to perform one of more of the responsibilities at a given time.
This is a third shift position. The hours for this role are 10:45pm to 7:00am, Monday – Friday. Occasional overtime will be required.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITES:
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Educational Requirements: High School or equivalent
Minimum Experience/Field: Minimum six months work experience in a printing or manufacturing environment. Dry Offset printing experience required.
Communication Skills: Fluent in English with good written and verbal communication skills
