Working with Richardson opens to door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a 3rd Class Power Engineer at our Lethbridge, AB location. The hourly wage for this position is $47.36 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Operation of boilers and ammonia systems
• Maintenance of boilers and auxiliary equipment
• Monitor and coordinate corrective actions for equipment and systems
• Maintain accurate records of boiler house activities
• Respond to fire alarms
• Respond to first aid emergencies

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Valid 3rd Class Power Engineer Certificate
• Valid First Aid certificate or willing to obtain
• Experience in operating large steam boilers and large ammonia refrigeration systems
• Ability to work independently and take appropriate action where circumstances warrant
• Mechanical aptitude/skills
• Excellent written, documentation, computer and verbal communication skills
• Willing to work shifts and overtime
