Job summary

Wolseley Canada is seeking a customer-focused sales professional to support critical industries and build strong customer relationships. You will respond to inquiries, provide product knowledge, and prepare quotes while ensuring stock availability and timely order fulfillment across the counter and warehouse environment.

The role requires technical sales experience in wholesale, local HVAC/plumbing knowledge, and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• Previous technical experience in sales or customer service in wholesale or distribution.
• Local market knowledge in HVAC and Plumbing is an asset.
• General computer skills including Microsoft Office required.
• Experience with AS400 is an asset.
• Must have exceptional customer service and professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact, offering product knowledge to customers professionally.
• Respond to customers in person, by phone or email in a timely manner.
• Prepare small order quotations on urgent contracting jobs.
• Pick customer orders from the warehouse.
• Perform product research in catalogs and online.
• Verify items are available for the customer as ordered and scheduled.
• Build positive relationships with customers and associates.
• Maintain stock of the counter area and assist in the warehouse as needed.
