Wolseley Canada is hiring a Counter Sales Associate in Edmonton, AB. You will be the first point of contact for customers, providing product knowledge, quotes, and order coordination to support branches and contractors.

The role requires wholesale or distribution sales experience, HVAC/Plumbing knowledge is a plus, and strong communication skills in person, over the phone, and via email. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits start day one.

Qualifications

Previous technical experience in sales or customer service in wholesale or distribution required.
Local market knowledge with HVAC and Plumbing will be an asset.
General computer skills including Microsoft Office required. Experience with AS400 an asset.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for customers and provide product knowledge.
Respond to customers in person, by phone or email in a timely manner.
Prepare small order quotations on urgent contracting jobs.
Perform product research in catalogs and online.
Verify items are available and scheduled as ordered.
Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues; assist in warehouse when needed.
