Qualifications

• Red seal journeyman Plumber or a registered Plumber Apprentice is required.
• Ability to stand, crouch and kneel for long periods.
• Previous plumbing and HVAC installation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install plumbing in modular units from rough in to finishing.
• Install water pipes, drainage systems, and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and test all plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Read blueprints and specifications to determine plumbing layouts.

We are looking for an energetic, passionate, reliable Plumber Journeyman or Apprentice to join our Kamloops Manufacturing Plant.

Reporting to the Lead hand, Plumber Journeyman / Apprentice is responsible for assisting in plumbing duties and also supports the installation of HVAC equipment in modular buildings/units from rough in to finishing.

Job Responsibilities

• Installation of plumbing in modular units from rough in to finishing
• Installation of water pipes, drainages and fixtures
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the plumbing system, water supply network and drainage systems
• Troubleshooting and testing of all plumbing fixtures and systems in the modular units
• Follow all safety procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• Red seal journeyman Plumber or registered Plumber Apprentice
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to work safely with a wide variety of hand and power tools and materials
• Ability to stand, crouch and kneel for long periods of time
• Capacity to lift heavy equipment and materials when required
