A leading energy infrastructure provider in Calgary is seeking a Pipe Stress Engineer. This role involves performing pipe stress analysis and ensuring compliance with applicable codes. The ideal candidate possesses a Mechanical Engineering degree, is a registered Professional Engineer, and has at least 5 years of experience in pipe stress analysis using CAESAR II. Reporting to the Project Engineering Supervisor, the primary role of the Pipe Stress Engineer within Enerflex Engineered Systems is to complete the preliminary and final pipe stress study of gas screw compression packages and gas processing plants. The main focus is on providing quality, accurate, on-time, and on-budget deliverables to both internal and external customers.
Duties must be performed consistent with the company Vision, Mission and Values and adherence to company policies and procedures as well as safe work practices.
Effective and excellent communication is the key to project success. A large part of the role of Pipe Stress Engineer is to facilitate sound communications, both written and verbal, with all project stakeholders.
