We’re looking for a full-time Product Introduction (PI) Technician at our Finch site. Could it be you?

Your future role

As part of the Testing & Commissioning Team, day-to-day, as a PI technician, you’ll work closely with teams across the business and be responsible for troubleshooting of Alstom products at customer site in order to ensure their availability. You will also provide technical expertise to subcontractors, warranty support team, project team members and coaching to less experienced field operators.

This is a permanent full-time position based at our Finch site located 50 York Gate Blvd - North York requiring flexibility/capacity to work rotating schedules (day-night shifts).

You’ll specifically take care of
  • Respecting and enforcing Alstom & customer EHSS policies and rules as well as relevant PI processes on customer site
  • Troubleshooting including investigation and repair during PI period as well as Pre-warranty & Commissioning
  • Reporting any deviation in the Failure Management data base
  • Field Modifications implementation
  • Fleet check activities
We’ll look to you for
  • Recommendations on appropriate preventative and corrective actions
  • Suggestions for product enhancements
  • Peer reviews of PI activities and provide technical leadership
  • Feedback to PI management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance
