BGIS Energy & Facility Solutions is looking for people to join our expanding team of Service Technicians who specialize in the maintenance and repair of pumping equipment, electrical, fuel management systems for retail petroleum stations, utility providers, transit services, and public works yards.

All positions require a Clean Drivers Abstract and Valid Driver’s License

The Petroleum Service Technician services and maintain petroleum equipment, systems and accessories essential to site operation, such as the repair and maintenance of leak detection systems. This position requires being part of an on‑call 24/7 rotation.

  • Electrical expertise (in petroleum or otherwise) or an understanding of electrical concepts and basic programming.
  • Certified Petroleum Equipment Mechanic PM1, PM2, PM3, PMH
  • Wayne Dover Dispenser Certification.
  • Gilbarco Dispenser Certification.

Petroleum Technician Apprentice

The Petroleum Technician Apprentice is mechanically skilled and supports with the service and maintenance of petroleum equipment, systems and accessories essential to site operations. The apprentice will shadow accredited technicians for on‑the‑job technical learning to assist with service calls under the supervision of the lead technician. Responsibilities include repair and maintenance of leak detection systems, management and housekeeping of shop and warehouse and parts delivery to jobsites as required.

The technician provides service and maintenance of petroleum equipment, systems and accessories essential to site operations. They diagnose and repair electronic payment systems and related network cabling. This position requires successful completion of education in IT or experience in an electronic‑related profession. This technician has strong PC literacy and good knowledge and application of the relevant tools and methods.

Petroleum Construction Specialist

The Petroleum Construction Specialist will specialize in tank‑pad, forecourt and island repairs including grade‑ring and spill container replacements, as well as the installation, maintenance and repair of pumping equipment. They have experience with construction related equipment, towing trailers and road safety standards. The Petroleum Construction Specialist works with Team Lead in planning, procurement and execution of site repairs and upgrades. This position will require some knowledge of petroleum construction and have an excellent standard of safety and work well within teams. The successful candidate will also be trained as a petroleum technician during down time and winter months when construction is not ideal.
