Qualifications

Voyago is hiring Full-time & Part Time Patient Transfer Attendants to fill an open position for our Campbellford, ON (Northumberland County) region.

Your Role
  • You are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence.
  • You can provide outstanding customer service.
  • You have excellent communication skills.
Your Profile
  • You have a valid First Responder Certification OR AEMCA, OR are working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR are a Firefighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification.
  • You have a Valid BLS certificate or CPR Level HCP.
  • You possess a valid G class driving license.
  • You can remain calm in an emergency situation.
  • You have the ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner.
  • You can effectively communicate in both verbal and written English.
  • You are a safe driver with a clean driving record.
  • You can obtain a clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector.
  • You have up to date immunization records and can provide the following records of: MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step 1) *must be valid within last 12 months.
  • You can work 12hrs floating with a start time anytime between 6am and 12pm.
  • Full time - Monday - Friday availability.
  • Part time - at least 3 shifts per week availability.
