Job summary

Solis Optics, a division of FYihealth group, invites you to join our Calgary team as a Patient Services Specialist. This casual role offers 0 to 19 hours per week in a friendly, fast-paced retail environment focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences, with weekends required.

You will greet customers, manage check-in/out, coordinate appointments, handle billing, and support store operations. Proficiency with MS Office and strong communication are valued, and you’ll have ongoing

We're hiring to fill a current vacancy, join our team at Calgary - 130th Ave - partners of solis optics, as a Patient Services Specialist!

In this role you'll deliver exceptional service and support, making an impact on people's lives in a fun, supportive, dynamic, and rewarding environment.

This position is a casual role working 0 to 19 hours per week. Our location is open Monday to Sunday. Weekends availability is mandatory.

What You'll Do

• Greet and welcome customers, manage customer check-in and check-out
• Engage with customers in person, by phone, and via email
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts
• Manage billing and payments for patients, insurers and other third parties
• Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive customer experience
• Support store operations by performing additional duties as required

What You Bring

• Previous retail experience is considered an asset
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with customers and providing exceptional experiences
• A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player, able to manage changing priorities effectively
