Job summary

solis optics, a division of FYihealth group, is seeking a Part-time Patient Services Specialist in Red Deer to deliver outstanding customer service and support in a fast-paced retail optical setting.

You will greet customers, coordinate appointments, handle billing, and contribute to a welcoming store atmosphere. This role offers growth opportunities and a collaborative team environment.

We're hiring to fill a current vacancy, join our team at Red Deer - Molly Banister - partners of solis optics, as a Patient Services Specialist!

In this role you'll deliver exceptional service and support, making an impact on people's lives in a fun, supportive, dynamic, and rewarding environment.

This position is a part-time role working 20-29 hours per week. Our location is open Monday to Saturday.

What You'll Do

• Greet and welcome customers, manage customer check-in and check-out
• Engage with customers in person, by phone, and via email
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts
• Manage billing and payments for patients, insurers and other third parties
• Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive customer experience
• Support store operations by performing additional duties as required

What You Bring

• Previous retail experience is considered an asset
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with customers and providing exceptional experiences
