Job summary

solis optics, a division of FYihealth group, is seeking a Part-Time Patient Services Specialist in Red Deer to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced optical retail setting.

You’ll greet customers, manage check-in/out, coordinate appointments, handle billing, and support store operations. This role offers ongoing training, a collaborative team environment, and opportunities for growth as you help patients access great eyewear experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers, check-in and check-out.
• Engage with customers in person, by phone, and by email.
• Coordinate appointments and prepare prescription printouts.
• Process billing and payments for patients and third parties.
• Deliver excellent customer service and assist store operations.

We're hiring to fill a current vacancy, join our team at Red Deer - Molly Banister - partners of solis optics, as a Patient Services Specialist!

In this role you’ll deliver exceptional service and support, making an impact on people’s lives in a fun, supportive, dynamic, and rewarding environment.

This position is a part-time role working20-29 hours per week. Our location is open Monday to Saturday.

What You'll Do

• Greet and welcome customers, manage customer check-in and check-out
• Engage with customers in person, by phone, and via email
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts
• Manage billing and payments for patients, insurers and other third parties
• Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive customer experience
• Support store operations by performing additional duties as required

What You Bring

• Previous retail experience is considered an asset
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with customers and providing exceptional experiences
• A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player, able to manage changing priorities effectively
