Do you have experience shipping/receiving, working in a warehouse environment, and operating a forklift? If so, we want you to join Falcon Equipment Winnipeg as a Parts Helper!

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintain an orderly department with parts stored in their proper locations for easy access
  • Ensure that stock levels are monitored to guarantee the inventory to be just‑in‑time and consistent with the requirements of the Rail Service and Installation Departments
  • Accountable for the shipping and receiving of the orders, while maintaining a record for all purchases made
  • Assist in acting as Falcon’s first‑line customer relations representative for all parts needs
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year experience in a similar position within a related industry
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Forklift operator certification required
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract required
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience with handling and unloading of heavy equipment with safety being of the upmost importance
  • Prior chain and rigging experience is a definite asset
  • Exceptional customer service and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure with a strong attention to detail
  • Able to deal with people tactfully and professionally at all times
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is an asset
