Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assists small groups and/or individual students with academic and behavioral activities.
  • Monitors and assists students during unstructured time.
  • Reports safety, unusual behavior, and discipline concerns to principal.

Ability to perform child-specific behavior management techniques
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to follow individualized education plans
Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Education

Grade twelve education
Six college/university level courses related to learning/behavioral issues
