The Parent Education and Support Worker promotes effective parenting/caregiving and child development by providing parent support and education through evidence-based parenting techniques and early child development strategies and by providing information, referral and facilitated access to community resources to isolated, high need/high-risk parents of children birth to six years, including prenatal women in a variety of languages.
Parent Education and Support Worker Salary Scale (starting at $48,268 per annum) with Competitive Benefits Package (health & dental) and paid time off entitlements (starting at 20 vacation days & 3 float days).
THIS POSITION IS WITHIN THE CUPE LOCAL 2563 BARGAINING UNIT.
