A community support organization in Kelowna seeks an Overnight Awake Residential Night Worker. You'll help ensure the health and safety of residents during the night while maintaining a comfortable living environment. Ideal candidates will have relevant experience in community settings, a Grade 12 education, and necessary certifications. Work hours from 11 PM to 7 AM, Monday to Friday. The position offers a chance to be part of a values-driven team focused on community support and empowerment.

This program is anticipated to open in May 2026! Village House is a spacious, newly renovated assisted living home nestled in the hills of Kelowna, BC, designed specifically for young adults with high and complex medical needs. The home is equipped with modern medical technology—including ceiling and mobile lifts, accessible bathrooms, and enhanced safety features—to ensure comfort, dignity, and seamless clinical support. Grounded in trauma informed practice, Village House promotes a safe, structured, and predictable environment where residents can feel secure and empowered. Our team designs and evaluates individualized programs that support healthy development, involve families, and reduce potential trauma triggers. Staff work collaboratively to build strong, positive relationships and create a healing, supportive atmosphere where each resident can thrive.
The Overnight Awake Residential Night Worker (ARNW) for this licensed, accredited agency attends to the health, well‑being, safety and security of residents and the program site at night, and provides general, non‑specific services to clients as required. This position will be alone during the overnight hours and must feel comfortable working alone, with support from fellow team members and the On‑Call Manager, as needed. Maintains a comfortable and clean living environment. This position reports to the Program Manager.
