What We're Looking For
As an Outbound Logistics & Data Support Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring our customer orders are managed smoothly from start to finish. You'll be responsible for handling both EDI and non-EDI orders, resolving issues as they arise, and keeping everything on track.
Responsibilities
- Process and manage both EDI and non-EDI customer orders with accuracy and speed
- Review purchase orders and ensure all details (pricing, quantities, delivery dates, labels) are correct
- Perform data entry of customer orders, and verify order details for accuracy, collaborate with other departments to address inquiries promptly
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Credit, Traffic, and Warehouse teams to resolve issues and keep orders moving
- Work with EDI transaction sets and vendor portals to ensure compliance and smooth processing
- Monitor inventory, adjust allocations, and generate pick tickets to support timely order fulfillment
- Coordinate shipping logistics, from routing and carrier appointments to delivery confirmations
- Generate invoices, ASNs, and shipment documentation to ensure seamless invoicing and tracking
- Investigate chargebacks, delivery issues, or discrepancies, keeping stakeholders informed at every step
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related role
- Strong knowledge of outbound logistics procedures and order managementHands-on experience with EDI systems, vendor portals, and related transaction sets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP/PLM systems (BlueCherry experience is a plus)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret reports, track inventory, and recommend adjustments
- Clear and professional communication skills (both written and verbal), able to collaborate across departments and with external partners
- Experience coordinating with carriers, warehouses, and third-party logistics providers
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes initiative
