Otto's Cache is Jasper's first locally owned cafe, bakery, and curated provisions market. Serving inspiration from Australian specialty cafe culture, European style bakeries, mixed with Italian inspired sandwiches made possible by local Canadian suppliers. We’re looking for a Barista to join the team, brewing delicious coffee with a focus on serving quality specialty coffee to Jasper while delivering a fun and engaging customer experience.

Position Requirements:

• English Fluency Level required for position: Advanced
• A passion for specialty coffee and customer service
• 1+ year experience in a barista role, ideally brewing specialty coffee
• Barista skills and knowledge (basic latte art, dialling in, trouble-shooting etc.)
• A strong work ethic with a customer-focused attitude
• A positive, friendly and professional demeanor
• An excitement and ability to engage with staff and customers about our coffee, menu and brand
• The ability to work in a fast-paced cafe environment
• The ability to multi-task, prioritize and communicate
• Willingness to learn and develop your skills as a barista
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in the cafe
