Job Details

Applicants must live in Western Canada and must have experience in the oil and gas sector. This position is not plant work.

Required safety certificates: H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Common Safety Orientation.

Required certification: Special Oil Well Certification or a Class 4 Power Engineering or higher.

Work location: Grande Prairie, Alberta, and other sites across Alberta and British Columbia.

Job type: Full-time.

Pay: $34.00-$40.00 per hour.

Experience: Minimum 1 year as boiler operator (preferred).

Starts as soon as possible. Vacancy: 1.

Responsibilities

Operate boiler at oil and gas well sites, rig up steam piping, hoses and heaters, and monitor boiler operation on day and night shifts.

Work closely with clients and other contractors on the site.

Work will be out of camps or hotels depending on client requirements; we pay for all hotels and camps.

Extremely busy winter season, with continuous work. End of season bonus for qualified personnel.

Qualifications

Live in Western Canada. Experience in oil and gas sector.

Special Oil Well Certification or Class 4 Power Engineering or higher.
