Job summary

Triple M Metal LP is accepting applications for a heavy equipment operator in Brampton, Ontario. The role requires operating Excavator, Scrap Handler, and Front End Loader to load and process scrap metal.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, OS​SD or equivalent preferred, and demonstrate strong safety awareness. The schedule is alternating days with comprehensive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating Excavator, Front End Loader and Rock Truck.
• OSSD or equivalent preferred.
• Must have valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including Excavator, Scrap Handler, Front End Loader.
• Load, sort, and process scrap metal as directed.
• Perform pre-operational checks and complete required documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.

Compensation

Based on experience. Between the range of $27.82 -$29.22

When

Days - Alternating Schedule

• Week 1 7:00AM to 7:00PM Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2 7:00AM to 7:00PM Wednesday & Thursday

What's Expected

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment including Excavator, Scrap Handler, Front End Loader
• Operate various attachments as assigned (e.g. Grapple, Magnet etc.);
• Load scrap metal as assigned;
• Sort, stack, process materials as directed;
• Clean, lubricate, check and replenish fluids as directed;Complete pre-operational equipment check and other documentation as assigned;
• Operate two-way radio or other communication devices as required;
• Maintain a safe and orderly working environment;
• Other general duties as assigned by Manager.

What's Required

• Previous experience operating Excavator, Front End Loader, Rock Truck;
• Must have a valid Driver's License;
• Strong communication both written and verbal;
• OSSD or equivalent is preferred but not required.
