Job Summary

The OpenText Developer and Support Analyst is responsible for configuring, supporting, and documenting OpenText enterprise content management solutions. This role supports application development, administration, and operational readiness while ensuring systems are well-documented, maintainable, and aligned with organizational standards. The position requires hands-on expertise with OpenText Content Server and AppWorks, along with strong technical documentation and support capabilities.

Mandatory Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline
    • OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Formal OpenText training, including:
    • OpenText Content Server Developer/Administrator training
    • OpenText AppWorks Developer/Administrator training
Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and support OpenText applications and environments
  • Develop and maintain application configurations
  • Create and update technical documentation, including:
    • Technical specifications and design documents
    • Operational guides
    • Installation, upgrade, and deployment guides
    • System reports
    • Disaster recovery procedures
  • Develop and maintain Knowledge Base Articles (KBAs) covering common issues, FAQs, how-to guidance, and workarounds
  • Support application upgrades, deployments, and operational readiness
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure documentation accuracy and system reliability
