Bon Appetit is the category leader in the production and distribution of premium baked goods. As a result of our continuous expansion, we are searching for a highly effective on-site Information Technology Manager.

We seek an experienced and motivated individual with a detailed knowledge of industry best practices, a professional track record of effective technical management, information analysis, and a thorough understanding of computer hardware and software systems.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Overseeing and ensuring the effective and efficient operation of computing systems and equipment.
  2. Maintaining information technology strategies.
  3. Managing and motivating the IT staff.
  4. Recruiting, training employees, communicating job expectations, and monitoring performance.
  5. Ensuring data security, network access, and backup systems.
  6. Overseeing the annual IT budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  7. Creating and maintaining IT policies for employees and business partners.
  8. Monitoring daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems.
  9. Coordinating technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
  10. Selecting and purchasing new and replacement hardware and software when necessary.
  11. Testing, troubleshooting, and modifying information systems for optimal operation.
  12. Generating performance reports for operating systems.
  13. Ensuring all IT activities comply with applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
  14. Evaluating technology risks and developing network recovery plans.
  15. Staying updated with technological advances and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an IT Manager.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field from a four-year college or university.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, ERP & MRP Systems, and barcode-based inventory systems.
  • Experience with computer networks, network administration, and installation.
  • Proficiency in computer hardware, cabling, wireless technology, and IT security.
  • Experience with Mobile Applications, PC & RF Scanning terminals.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
  • Physical ability to perform job duties; accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
