Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Able to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg (35 lb).
• Available to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be on-call as required.

Responsibilities

• Sort and prepare deliveries at the depot.
• Drive a Canada Post postal vehicle to deliver items.
• Deliver mail and packages to customers on your route.
• Unload incoming mail and packages for later delivery.

Skills

Valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s licence

Physical ability to lift and carry mail items

Ability to work in all types of weather

Availability to be on-call

Ability to read, write and speak English and/or French

Experience in customer service

Experience making deliveries
