We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Obstetrician & Gynecologist (OB-GYN) to join a modern, high-volume outpatient clinical setting in the Oakville and Georgetown area. The ideal candidate is committed to providing exceptional patient-centered care and enjoys working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Care
- Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological services in an outpatient setting.
- Conduct prenatal, postnatal, and routine women’s health examinations.
- Diagnose and manage reproductive, menstrual, and hormonal conditions.
- Offer fertility assessments, contraception counseling, and family planning services.
- Perform in-clinic procedures such as:
- IUD insertion/removal
- Endometrial biopsy
- Hysteroscopy (if trained)
- Early pregnancy care and assessments
Patient Management
- Develop individualized care plans and follow-up schedules.
- Maintain accurate and complete EMR documentation.
- Educate patients on reproductive health, wellness, and preventative care.
- Provide culturally sensitive and inclusive patient support.
Collaboration
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, midwives, and clinic staff.
- Offer consultation and support to primary care providers.
- Participate in team discussions and contribute to coordinated patient care.
Compliance & Standards
- Adhere to regulatory and professional guidelines, including CPSO and PHIPA.
- Follow clinic protocols, infection control practices, and documentation standards.
- Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and continuing education.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.
Qualifications
- MD degree from a recognized medical school.
- FRCSC in Obstetrics & Gynecology (required).
- Active or eligible CPSO license.
- CMPA membership in good standing.
- Experience in outpatient or ambulatory OB-GYN care is an asset.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to provide high-quality care in a diverse community setting.
