Job description

North Shore Acura is seeking a F/T Automotive Service Technician

• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $37.80-$40.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• 10 days paid vacation per year

Job Duties:

• Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems
• Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicles, and test automotive systems and components
• Assess and adjust repaired systems to fulfill the manufacturer’s specifications
• Perform scheduled maintenance service
• Provide customers with details about the work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repairs that may be necessary
• Write reports to document records of issues and work performed
• Review work orders and communicate with supervisor

Job Requirements:

• Experience: 2-3 years of work experience in automotive technology are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
