Position: Sanitation Operator

Address: 271 Attwell Drive, Etobicoke M9W 5B9

Shift: Night Shift (11:00PM - 7:30AM); Sunday to Thursday - work week subject to change

Job Type: Full-time

Hiring Requirements
  • Responsible for completing tasks assigned from master sanitation program for the facility and for special assignments as determined by the Sanitation Supervisor.
  • Utilize and maintain in-house sanitation cleaning equipment (Power washers, Vacuums, and floor Scrubbers).
  • Understand, follow and maintain WHMIS procedures and regulations as required.
  • Understand, follow and maintain all sanitation programs and requirements.
  • Must be able to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Must perform basic mathematical functions.
  • Must possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be prepared to work extra hours when required.
  • Requires bending, significant walking, scrubbing, scraping, mopping, moving objects, and pulling/pushing equipment, etc.
  • Occasional heavy lifting (50–75lbs) with assistance from a partner.
  • Occasional frequent exertion of up to 35lb of force.
  • Comfortable communicating in both verbal and written English.
