Night Auditor – Front Desk Team (Part Time)

Rossland, $22.00 per hour (Flexible night shift, holidays & weekends)

What You Will Be Doing
As our Night Auditor, you will work with the Front Office Manager and other teams to ensure consistent high‑quality customer service and maximize room revenue and occupancy. You will be on the front desk night shift, lead the team, and complete administrative tasks.
- Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing Point of Service tapes/journals to break down revenue, covers, waiters’ fees, tips and settlements by type and cashier.
- Run audit reports/journals from the front office system, Point of Service and the computer.
- Make corrections and adjustments and handle all computer problems during the shift.
- Input revenue/expenses/allowances into the front office system to generate the daily Guest Ledger Summary and Daily Restaurant Summary.
- Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files and reset the system for next day operations.
- Implement and continue support of company programs and supervise daily operations of the Front Desk to comply with SOPs, LSOPs and brand standards, maximize revenues, and provide optimal quality service and hospitality to hotel customers.
- Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situations and heavy hotel activity. Serve as a role model for clerks and other employees. Resolve customer complications and complaints by thorough research and determine effective solutions. Authorize revenue allowances after considering alternative solutions.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
- Computer literacy in a hotel
- Hotel PMS experience an asset
- Service oriented with an eye to supporting internal guests
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced hotel environment
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Willingness to learn, develop & grow
- Numerical acuity and high attention to detail
- Comprehensive understanding of financial data, reporting & basic arithmetic functions
- Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift)
- Professional presentation
- Must be willing to work overnights, holidays & weekends
