A leading engineering services company based in Montreal is looking for a Network Operations Engineer. In this hands-on position, you will manage, monitor, and support the network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of relevant experience and hold a CCNP certification. The Network Operations Engineer position is a hands‑on role to manage, monitor and support the network infrastructure and services. Working within the Network Operations Team you will provide support with resolving incidents, implementing customer requests, delivering on projects, proposing service improvements, and mentoring junior team members.
This role will suit an individual who has experience within a 2nd or 3rd line support environment and has proven experience in troubleshooting network related issues within a large organisation. While the candidate is expected to have a minimum of CCNP certification, it is equally important that candidate have a passion for networking. This position is responsible for managing Datacentre activities like commissioning, decommissioning of network devices, and need travel to Datacentre / Sites based on business requirements.
