Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of Canadian Naval experience in naval systems engineering or technology.
  • Familiarity with multi‑party enterprise‑level solutions involving shipyards, government, and integrators.
  • Experience in a shipyard environment or in a quality assurance role is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver maintenance programs aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Review technical modifications for impact on naval systems and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline planning and execution of docking work periods.
  • Act as a primary liaison with DND, shipyards, and industry partners.
  • Maintain technical publications, reports, and records for compliance.

Engineering degree with completion of a Head of Department (HOD) tour in the Canadian Navy
QL6B equivalent (Senior NCM – Chief Petty Officer)
