Job description

Job type: Full-time – minimum 40 hours/week

The work location premise is at 800 Grand Lake Road, Sydney, NS.

Salary: $20/hour

Job duties shall include (but not be limited to) the following:

• Paint fingernails and toenails
• Cut, clean, and shape nails
• Recommend colors and designs based on each customer’s style
• Remove previously applied polish
• Apply powder gel and acrylic nails, shape and related treatments
• Prepare and clean beauty station in between appointments
• Sterilize equipment before use
• Inform clients about additional services and offers
• Give hand and foot massages
• Offer nail care treatment tips (e.g. how to strengthen natural nails and how to make colors last longer)
• Up-sell treatments and beauty products when appropriate
• Take an interest in customers (e.g., chatting with them during their services and remembering their preferences).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma
• Work Experience: minimum of 2 years
• Professional certificates
