Telehealth (Hybrid Option Beginning 2026)

movn Embodiment Collective is an expanding private practice serving clients across Los Angeles and California. We are seeking full-time (minimum of 23 clinical hours per week) post-doctoral Psychological Associates and master’s-level associates (AMFT, ACSW, APCC).

Positions are solely telehealth, with an optional hybrid/in‑person pathway anticipated in 2026.

Start dates depend on successful registration with the California Board of Psychology (for PAs) or the Board of Behavioral Sciences (for AMFT/ACSW/APCC). Pay is hourly with bonus opportunities. In addition to weekly individual and group supervision, we offer an optional weekly peer consultation group designed specifically to support associates.

We focus on providing trauma‑informed, holistic, and integrated psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and couples, as well as embodied process group therapies. You will enjoy a warm, supportive, collaborative environment with a strong focus on ethical and competent services, autonomy, independence, and openness to innovation, creativity, and professional identity development.

Our practice is employing ongoing marketing campaigns to promote our clinicians and attract diverse clients in their 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s who are experiencing phase‑of‑life issues, relationship concerns, or striving to achieve work/life balance.

We value work‑life balance and clinician wellness, and require a lower number of clinical hours to qualify for full‑time status.

  • Experience or interest in gender‑affirming care for transgender, nonbinary, and gender‑expansive clients
  • Interest in hormonal, menopause, perimenopause, fertility, and reproductive transitions
  • Adolescents (11–17)

  • Ability to conceptualize cases from multiple lenses (cognitive, behavioral, depth, psychodynamic, intersubjective, systems thinking, attachment and trauma science informed)
  • Educational and previous experience providing evidence‑based practices (CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, CBT‑I)
  • Commitment to providing affirming care for clients of all identities, orientations, and lived experiences

RequirementsPostdoctoral Psychological Associates

  • Doctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD)
  • Eligibility for registration as a Psychological Associate with the CA Board of Psychology
  • APA‑accredited program preferred but not required

Master’s‑Level Associates (AMFT, ACSW, APCC)

  • Master’s degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, or clinical psychology
  • Registration with the BBS (AMFT, ACSW, APCC)

  • Comfort with evidence‑based practices (CBT, DBT, EMDR, CBT‑I)
