About the Role
Vidyard is looking for a Mid Market Account Executive to join our Sales team. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will manage intricate sales cycles within the Upmarket segment and present the value of our solutions customized to meet individual customer needs.
This is a critical role in helping us accelerate growth at Vidyard. We are seeking strong problem-solvers and consultants who focus on identifying and solving customer challenges. The right person will receive heavy investment from our team in terms of career growth and development in a collaborative, team-based environment.
This is a remote role open to candidates located in Canada or the US.
What You’ll Work On:
- Managing Mid-Market sales cycles (organizations between 500-5,000 employees)
- Sourcing and developing a pipeline of new opportunities
- Ownership of fast and high-volume transactions
- Managing relationships with new and existing customers
- Presenting the value of our solutions based on deep, thoughtful discovery to uncover customer challenges and objectives
- Forecasting sales activity and revenue achievement
- Maintaining operational rigor when reporting sales activity and identifying areas for process improvement
- Performing online demos of our product
- Establishing Vidyard as a trusted business partner for target accounts
- Managing your own data and metrics to drive disciplined, leading indicator-based success
What You’ll Bring to this Role:
- Approximately 6 years of sales experience; preference for SaaS experience
- Full-cycle sales experience
- Solid understanding of SaaS concepts (ARR, AOV, MRR, Churn, etc.)
- Track record of quota/targets achievement
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Experience with outbound prospecting and proven self-sourced pipeline
- CRM experience, preferably Salesforce
- Experience with Pocus and Gong
