As a Mental Performance Specialist with Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services, you will deliver the mental performance program to members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), including but not limited to, student pilots, instructor pilots and air traffic control trainees. You will provide individual and group performance coaching to enhance and/or sustain their high levels of performance, to help them perform consistently and under considerable stress and adversity. In addition, you’ll assist with other targeted strategies for optimizing mental performance, including the development of online learning, social media and website content and memory aids.
The Mental Performance Specialist plays an integral role in supporting the performance, health and well-being of Canadian Armed Forces members. In doing so, you will help to ensure that they are mentally and physically ready to sustain the rigours of operations, and live healthy balanced lives.
