Math Teacher

Senior School, Gr 9-10

Temporary, 1.0FTE position

Work Term: January 2026 - February 2027

Position

Temporary, full-time equivalent position teaching mathematics to Senior School students in grades 9–10.

Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of International Baccalaureate (IB) units that incorporate the BC curriculum.
  • Actively contribute to our extensive co-curricular programs and participate fully in the culture of our independent school community.
What You’ll Bring
  • You will hold a valid BC teaching certificate and have experience teaching high school mathematics.
  • Strong knowledge of inquiry-based and project-based learning approaches; a passion for innovation and creativity in education; highly reflective and committed to continuous professional growth and improvement.
  • A strong aptitude for differentiated instruction and a commitment to fostering an inclusive, holistic learning environment.
  • Experience with IB training and/or the MYP Programme is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation
