How Will You Make an Impact?

The role will secure customer orders, receiving in-bound shipments, inventory replenishment, inventory management and supporting the quality systems. As a warehouse colleague, you will help deliver laboratory life saving products. You will be on the front lines of helping science make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

A Day in the Life

The Material Handler I will ensure all daily outbound shipment requirements are completed on-time and documentation is filled out accurately to meet shipment requirements. These are some of the daily role responsibilities you may encounter:

  • Meet departmental/site goals by efficiently prioritizing daily goals
  • Work collaboratively and efficiently with coworkers to achieve team, department and company metrics.
  • Support to Quality Objectives by proactively reporting corrective and or/preventative actions to your immediate supervisor when warranted for the continuous improvement of operations.
Education

High school diploma is required

Experience
  • Required: No previous work experience required
  • Preferred: Experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field
  • Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to work with minimal direction.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment

The employee is frequently required to stand and walk for periods up to 8 hours and move boxes up to 30 lbs. in weight. The ability to pick orders in multiple temperatures is also critical. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions.
