Role:

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies that enhance our brand visibility, attract guests, and drive revenue. This role requires creativity, strong organizational skills, initiative and a passion for the hospitality industry.

Job Responsibilities:
Social Media Content Management:
  • Manages PKML social media channels – supports the content calendar creation through agency briefing and communications, manages the review and approval of calendars, acts as additional on site on content capture for special events/holidays/promotions, posts organic content and oversees community management.
  • Tracks social media engagement metrics and generates monthly reports for Marketing and Resorts Leadership team.
  • Manages additional social channels including LinkedIn and Tiktok.
  • Conducts quarterly website audits for content updates and works with agency to revise information.
Campaign and Marketing Materials:
  • Supports cross-functional hotel teams with marketing collateral needs including, guest activities calendars, holiday and event materials (brochures, landing pages, TV screen creative), hotel and in-room signage, food and beverage menus, and sales team collateral.
  • Coordinates and manages printed promotional and tradeshow materials including managing inventory levels.
  • Works with agency to create paid campaign materials such as event brand identity, social, display, radio and print advertising.
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and guest services, to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives and brand messaging.
  • Responsible for email platform, content development and reporting to support overall campaign goals and hotel revenue.
Content Management:
  • Ensures all content and collateral is up-to-date, consistent with brand standards and easily accessible by internal teams.
  • Responsible for asset uploading to Marriott systems.
Budget Management:
  • Tracks expenses, processes invoices, and maintains accurate records in a budget control report.
  • Ensures timely filing of invoices and receipts to support financial accountability and reporting.
Public Relations:
  • Coordinates media/brand ambassador/influencer visits and communicates effectively with resort operations via internal channels.
  • Works with local PR agency to coordinate press releases and communicates upcoming events.
Event Coordination:
  • Provides on-the-ground support for holidays and special events in collaboration with the Marketing Manager and Guest Activities.
Admin:
  • Manages TripAdvisor reviews.
  • Supports the marketing team with administrative tasks.
  • Manages internal organization systems including appropriate asset filing, folder organization and naming.
Employment Experience and Educational:
  • Preferred Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related a related field.
  • Preferred 1 – 2 years in marketing experience. Agency experience is a plus.
  • Strong project, budget management, organizational and creative writing skills.
  • Experience with martech platforms– email platforms, Google Analytics, social media platforms, Google Adwords.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint programs. SharePoint & Teams experience is preferred.
  • A passionate self-starter with a can-do attitude and the ability to identify opportunities.
  • Passion for outdoors, travel and tourism.
