Job description

Our client, a leading Canadian financial services organization, is looking to hire a Marketing Analyst for a contract opportunity (with potential extension or conversion to full-time). This is a hybrid position based in Toronto.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver against a strategic 1-2 year marketing plan aligned to business revenue targets, while managing initiatives within the allocated marketing budget.
  • In partnership with the Director and Senior Director, manage the development and execution of marketing strategies and tactics, including offer design, creative, target audience, and channel selection, to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate across Marketing teams, Marketing Solutions & Client Offers, and lines of business to support overall revenue growth.
  • Build strong relationships with key business stakeholders and act as a trusted partner in supporting business growth initiatives.
  • Manage the creative development and internal approval process, including legal and compliance reviews, for assigned direct marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure all marketing initiatives are brand compliant and aligned with corporate brand standards.
Must-Have Skills:
  • 1+ years of experience managing creative and marketing communications projects across direct and interactive channels.
  • 1+ years of financial services experience, with knowledge of retail banking products (credit card experience is strongly preferred).
  • Hands-on email marketing experience, producing client-facing communications.
  • Experience managing and tracking marketing budgets, ensuring costs align with estimates.
  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in Marketing, or equivalent related experience.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience working with creative agencies.
  • Copywriting experience or familiarity (strong asset).
  • Understanding of email development from a technical perspective.
