** The Role will be based near London Area**

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for leading capital projects and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes. This role focuses on improving quality, productivity, safety, and cost efficiency through equipment upgrades, tooling design, Lean initiatives, and cross‑functional collaboration in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Lead capital projects from concept through implementation, including equipment selection, procurement, installation, and commissioning
  • Manage capital budgets, project schedules, and performance targets
  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve quality, efficiency, and cost
  • Design tooling, fixtures, and layouts to enhance manufacturability, ergonomics, and material flow
  • Identify and resolve manufacturing issues to reduce downtime and waste
  • Lead Lean manufacturing initiatives, Kaizen events, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including SOPs and work instructions
  • Support design reviews and recommend improvements for reliability, assembly, and performance
