What you’ll do

As the Manager, SMB Business Strategy Development and Governance, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping our future. You will support your team in tackling complex strategic questions, leveraging deep insights from their modeling and research to develop compelling recommendations for executive leadership. This means you’ll be driving detailed analyses, honing your strategic storytelling, and gaining direct exposure to our senior leadership team. You’ll also be instrumental in pioneering exciting new strategic visions across our business.

Reporting directly to the Director, SMB Business Strategy Development, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the strategic planning cycle: Oversee the development of annual and long-term financial and KPI plans, and rigorously monitor performance against these critical targets
  • Driving strategic reviews: Support strategy reviews and presentations for senior leaders
  • Supporting executive performance: Develop and deliver essential Board Advance support and materials
  • Leading and coaching: Guide, mentor, and coach your direct team members, fostering a high-performance, high-engagement strategic planning environment
  • Driving market intelligence: Proactively investigate shifts in underlying business performance and key market trends, with a specific focus on assessing how global and domestic peers are going to market in the SMB space and articulating their value propositions
  • Driving strategic recommendations: Develop sophisticated scenario-based analyses and present clear, actionable strategic recommendations to the team
  • Ensuring stakeholder collaboration: Cultivate strong relationships and collaborate effectively with key cross-functional stakeholders to align on strategic initiatives
Qualifications

What you bring

  • Exceptional business acumen: A proven ability to synthesize complex data and operating results into clear, actionable insights and strategic narratives
  • Advanced analytical skills: High proficiency in business and financial analysis, with deep expertise in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Problem-solving mindset: Self-directed with a hypothesis-based approach to identifying and solving complex business challenges
  • Self-starter with a bias for action: Can take an initial ask with limited context and offline updates and drive it forward using historical files and example
  • Comfort with ambiguity: Thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities, asks, and context can change rapidly
  • Relevant experience: A background in consulting, corporate strategy, or Finance/FP&A, demonstrating experience in strategic planning and financial modeling
  • Academic foundation: A university degree combined with 7+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally with 2-3 years in a team management capacity

Salary Range: $102,000-$152,000

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 20%
