Job Description

Parkland invites an experienced Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse to join as a Regional Manager, Clinical and Cognitive Support. The role involves significant travel throughout Ontario to support multiple sites, leading a team of Regional Clinical Partners, and advancing quality and risk programs across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development of organization‑wide quality and risk programs in consultation with other Regional Clinical Managers and the Chief Medical Officer.
  • Lead the creation of a best‑in‑class provincial offering for cognitive health and memory care.
  • Mentor, develop, and manage Regional Clinical Partners and clinical leaders to ensure appropriate care delivery and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with Divisional Lead and General Manager to evaluate clinical performance, identify risk areas, and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Identify development needs within the team and facilitate learning opportunities.
  • Lead organizational or regional initiatives, monitor and analyze clinical indicators, and produce proactive reports to improve care.
  • Ensure licensing requirements and regulatory criteria related to clinical and nursing care are maintained.
  • Direct campus clinical teams during high‑risk clinical incidents and external regulatory responses.
  • Initiate long‑range planning strategies for service improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • Current registration with an appropriate nursing association.
  • Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, including clinical and administrative roles.
  • Excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of dementia and Alzheimer’s care.
  • Experience managing teams and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
