Interior Health is hiring a Manager | Medical Staff Retention & Experience. This role will lead an IH-wide Medical Staff Retention Strategy, partnering with clinical and corporate leaders to create a culture of connection, optimism, and leadership development.
Salary range for the position is $106,026 to $152,413. Interior Health establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the salary range based on consideration of the qualifications, experience of the applicant, and an internal equity review of the salaries of other employees.
The Manager, Medical Staff Retention and Experience oversees the development, measurement, and sustainment of an IH-wide Medical Staff Retention Strategy. Working in partnership with corporate and clinical leaders, the Manager is responsible for providing leadership for activities that support creating a welcoming workplace for medical staff, including those focused on creating a culture of connection and shared optimism; leadership development; and proactive communication between direct care staff, sites and senior leadership. The Manager is responsible for all aspects of planning, organizing and directing staff and activities in these areas, including representing IH when engaging with partner organizations and communities.
The Manager is accountable for effectively addressing medical staff experience and retention issues that cross programs, portfolios, and geographic lines by implementing initiatives, projects and/or programs that support medical staff retention and experience, present and compassionate leadership development, and collaborative change processes as well as quality improvement activities related to medical staff retention.
