A leading health services organization in Alberta is seeking a Maintenance Worker II. This role involves performing routine and preventative maintenance, ensuring the safety and efficient operation of the facility's systems. Candidates should have completed Grade 10 or the equivalent. Additional qualifications include a valid driver's license and the Power Engineer 5th Class Certificate if needed. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $27.00 to $29.47 and offers a days-only shift pattern.
As a Maintenance Worker II, you may perform routine preventative and demand maintenance activities within the exterior and interior of the building. Under general supervision, you may perform a variety of semi‑skilled maintenance and repair work on facility architectural, structural and mechanical systems/components to ensure safety and efficient operation of the building systems and equipment. You may perform a wide range of general maintenance duties including maintenance and repair of drywall, floors and painting. Additional duties may include minor plumbing repair; minor repairs on equipment; checks on equipment for pressure and temperature; and disassembly of equipment for cleaning.
Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent. Possession of a valid driver's licence. Power Engineer 5th Class Certificate required where boiler support is necessary.
